Prevent Oversleeping: The Silent Alarm That Uses Earphone Vibrations to Signal the Time | KING JIM

KING JIM

Vibration is adjustable in three levels. Wakes you gently without sound.

“I tend to oversleep on trains,” or “I want to take a nap, but I’m worried if my smartphone’s alarm will wake me up…” To address these concerns, KING JIM has developed the ‘Mezamashi Earphone,’ a new kind of silent alarm that uses vibrations from earphones worn in the ears to let you know the time.

It features both an alarm function that can be set to the minute and a timer function that can be set for up to 99 minutes, allowing for versatile use depending on your needs. The vibration intensity can be adjusted to three levels, so you can set it to your preferred strength.

The earphone cable can be wound around the main unit for compact storage. It is scheduled for release on Friday, April 22, 2016.
