Three Writing Instruments in Homage to the Waltz King

MONTBLANC's "Donation Pen" collection honors eminent musicians, past and present, with writing instruments distinguished by meticulous detail and refined elegance. The latest addition, "Johann Strauss," is named after the extraordinary Waltz King who set the pace for Imperial Vienna and Europe at the close of the 19th century.

A Design Evoking the Chic Sensibility of Imperial Vienna

The Montblanc Donation Pen "Johann Strauss" comprises a collection of three writing instruments: a fountain pen, a rollerball, and a ballpoint pen. The cap and barrel, crafted from black precious resin, are paired with champagne gold-finished fittings. The cap ring is delicately engraved with Johann Strauss II's signature and the Montblanc brand name. The distinctive clip design is inspired by a violin bow.

The nib is engraved with "Die Fledermaus"

The champagne-toned Au585 gold nib of the fountain pen features a charming bat engraving, a nod to Strauss's famous operetta, "Die Fledermaus." The cognac-colored ink window evokes the body of a violin, allowing one to appreciate a chic design that reflects the sophisticated taste of Imperial Viennese society in its heyday, while commemorating the achievements of the extraordinary Waltz King.

A portion of the proceeds from the Donation Pen is used to support the development of young musicians.
