A new fusion of modern jewelry and sculpture—NIESSING, a brand that embodies "modernity" in jewelry, has collaborated with Kohei Nawa, who continues to express new materiality through his unique approach to materials. The exhibition "NIESSING x Kohei Nawa 'CELL / FORCE'" is being held at NIESSING Tokyo, NIESSING's concept shop in Aoyama, Tokyo, until November 23 (Mon, holiday).

The third artist collaboration
NIESSING develops innovative jewelry created through the fusion of handcraft and cutting-edge technology, such as "The NIESSING Ring," which supports a diamond solely by the tension of the metal. Its abstraction and variability are sure to ignite people's imagination.
Since 2013, NIESSING has collaborated with artists to coincide with autumn design events. Following "'Graffiti' Rings by Hideyuki Nakayama" with architect Hideyuki Nakayama and "'FAMILY OF NIESSING'" with photographer Hideaki Hamada last year, in 2015, they commissioned sculptor Kohei Nawa to create an exhibition themed around jewelry as a "material for imagination."
In this exhibition, under the theme "CELL / FORCE," jewelry is displayed against a backdrop of diverse, material-rich forms, with rings created through the collaboration of Nawa and NIESSING being specially exhibited.
