Founded in 1975 by Andrew Ritchie, who built the first model in his own home, Brompton has continuously released bicycles that blend practicality with style, growing to become the largest bicycle brand in the UK. All bicycles are produced in a factory in West London by highly skilled craftspeople.

Today, their lightweight folding bikes, weighing around 10-12kg and designed for urban dwellers, are globally popular for their convenience, folding down to one-third of their size. In 2009, Brompton was recognized for its significant contributions to British industry over more than 20 years, receiving the Prince Philip Designers Prize at Buckingham Palace.

Opened this month in Daikanyama, Tokyo, "BROMPTON JUNCTION TOKYO" boasts a spacious area of approximately 100 square meters. The store stocks all models in a variety of frame colors available in Japan, along with a wide selection of accessories.

Furthermore, the BROMPTON BIKE BUILDER service has been launched. Highly trained staff will provide maintenance and advice tailored to every customer, from seasoned Brompton enthusiasts to beginners, helping them choose a bike that suits their diverse needs for a long-lasting relationship.

For this new opening, Andrew Ritchie visited Japan. He commented on the Daikanyama store's launch: "In recent years, I've had the pleasure of meeting Brompton dealers in Japan and have been consistently impressed by their passion. Now, we are able to open our second store in Japan in the vibrant city of Tokyo. I hope we can build this place into a community that shares the charm and endless possibilities of Brompton, together with all of you."
