Camera Straps Praised by Professional Photographers

"DSPTCH" began as a camera strap manufacturer, with designer Richard Liu drawing inspiration from military hardware. The brand gained attention from professional photographers for its use of highly abrasion-resistant, mil-spec materials and its focus on functional product design, rapidly becoming a top-quality camera strap manufacturer. Since the Fall/Winter 2013 collection, they have also expanded into bags, laptop cases, and iPad cases, opening their first directly managed store in San Francisco in 2014.


To commemorate the start of handling "DSPTCH" at JACKET REQUIRED Omotesando, a store that proposes dress casual for adult men focusing on import brands, a collaborative event between "DSPTCH," Yasuyuki Takaki, and JACKET REQUIRED has been realized.

Photographer Yasuyuki Takaki began his career in 1994 after working as a DJ and fashion stylist. He has been active primarily in men's fashion magazines, fashion advertising, and CD jackets. His recent "GRIDSCAPE" series, which presents urban portraits using a typological method, has garnered significant acclaim both domestically and internationally.

He favors the Sony "α7" for his shoots, and along with "DSPTCH" straps, they have become indispensable for his work.
