The "Traveling Camera Bag" with Exceptional Usability

Shuichi Maeyama, who collaborated with Map Camera this time, explained the concept behind the TYPE371 camera bag: "Cameras have become smaller, and the necessary equipment has changed. I wanted a user-friendly bag that could hold the essential two or three cameras for today's needs, along with a PC, charger, spare batteries, and memory cards, all in a minimal package."

True to his request, the bag is designed to accommodate smaller cameras, capable of holding up to three mirrorless cameras with attached prime lenses (Maeyama uses it for his Leica M9 and M Monochrom with 35mm, 50mm, and 75mm prime lenses respectively). It's also crafted for a snug fit when worn crossbody.

Ultimate Simplicity in All Black

The TYPE371 camera bag is made from water-repellent coated material and durable nylon, ensuring reliable use even in bad weather. All tags are also plain black for a simple aesthetic, and the rounded body design gives it a sleek silhouette.

The bag features a front pocket, side pockets, and a rear zippered pocket. The rear compartment is spacious enough to hold a 13-inch tablet or a slim laptop.

Metal fittings are D-rings, allowing the strap to move so the bag doesn't tilt when worn. It also includes a short hand strap, useful for lifting the bag or carrying it by hand in crowded trains. Two removable inner dividers are included.

Postcard Included with First 100 Units

BLACK TAG, Map Camera's original brand, has previously produced items based on requests from photographers Keita Hagiwara and Mikio Kobayashi. This collaboration bag with Shuichi Maeyama is the third installment. The first 100 units of the TYPE371 camera bag will come with a postcard featuring a photograph by Shuichi Maeyama.
