When asked about the characteristics of her umbrella making, designer Yuko Ibe explained, "Bon Bon Store's umbrellas are distinguished by their attention to detail in materials and their use of wooden handles (chestnut, maple, oak, bamboo). I always imagine 'I wish I had an umbrella like this' to match fashion and then design them. As a small brand, I create what I want freely, without being swayed by marketing."
