With a vision to “create a culture of carpets,” HOTTA CARPET manufactures carpets for hotels, boutiques, and residences using rare machinery. They account for over 80% of domestic production and have focused on leftover yarn from their manufacturing process. To utilize this material as much as possible, they developed chair pads.

In 2021, HOTTA CARPET launched “Accessories for Carpet Life,” a project to develop products centered around carpets. The third release in this series is the “Chair Pad.”
Leftover yarn from the carpet manufacturing process is utilized without being discarded. The high-quality wool is sourced from Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Norway, and the UK. Its dense weave ensures a fine texture and a design that resists flattening.
Wool, with its excellent heat retention, humidity control, and resilience, can be used year-round. Currently available for pre-order on Makuake.
