After starting her career at the furniture brand "IDEE," she became independent in 2005. Currently, she boasts an impressive range of activities, working with international brands such as Hermès, Camper, Adidas, and HAY. This is the story of Shigeki Fujishiro, a product designer. A large size of "rivet lamp," which she released as a self-produced product in 2015, is now available.

Vulcanized fiber, a natural material born about 100 years ago from wood pulp and cotton. Fujishiro focused on the material's properties of "heat resistance and insulation" and its "flexibility," elevating them into lighting fixture designs. This is how the "rivet lamp" was born.

The lampshade's form is created by rolling the material and securing it with rivets. The three bands at the top are fixed with a fixture, and heat is effectively released through the gaps between them. Due to the nature of the material, slight distortions may occur, but these can be resolved by loosening the top fixture or rearranging the three bands.

The large size released this time is ideal for use in dining rooms or workspaces. Its refined form and the light it emits will surely grace any space with a gentle ambiance. Available in two colors: black and gray.
