Artek, the Finnish interior brand representing Nordic modernism, is celebrating the second anniversary of its first directly managed store in Japan, Artek Tokyo Store, on the 27th of this month. To commemorate this occasion, an anniversary event will be held with friends who share values across generations and fields.

The Artek Tokyo Store's anniversary event, themed "Live with Nature," includes plans for an online tour of Alvar Aalto's home in Helsinki and an online talk event with photographer Nao Tsuda.

Furthermore, the store will release the "Stool 60 Curly Birch" and "901 Tea Trolley Honey Stain" exclusively.

The "Stool 60 Curly Birch" uses curly birch, a rare wood species primarily found in Karelia, the easternmost region of Finland. It is characterized by its beautiful, curly, irregular growth rings.

The "901 Tea Trolley Honey Stain" features a body finished in honey stain and handles in black stain, creating a beautiful contrast.
