New Collection Unveiled at Milan Salone 2014

ARMANI / CASA presented its new collection, "ARMANI / CASA NEW COLLECTION 2014-2015," at the Milan Salone. Among the highlights, the "Armani / Casa Exclusive Wallcoverings Collection," the brand's first foray into wall coverings, garnered significant attention at the venue.

Furniture Born from the Latest Digital Printing Technology

The ARMANI / CASA store on Via Sant'Andrea in Milan features a display designed for Milan Salone 2014, with a spotlight on the newly launched wall coverings. The furniture items within the store are arranged along a thoughtfully designed pathway, accentuating their sophisticated color palettes.

For this new collection, ARMANI / CASA collaborated with Jannelli & Volpi, a leader in the Italian wall covering industry. The result is a collection infused with an Orientalist essence, inspired by nature.

Each material features the latest digital printing technology to enhance its design. For instance, silk woven with special metallic threads showcases large "marble" motifs, while shantung silk with irregular slub yarns offers delicate shades of light blue, beige, and sepia. Panels are created with palm tree designs, playing on the contrast between matte and glossy finishes.

The wall coverings are also used as a precious design element in several furniture pieces. The "Exception" screen utilizes panels of nep yarn silk fabric with a palm tree print, framed in black maple. The "Elliot" storage unit features a high-tech shagreen fabric with wallpaper coating on the interior.

Home Accessories Crafted with Traditional Techniques

Additionally, new lamps inspired by traditional Asian lanterns cast a soft, enchanting glow. These are 100% handmade using traditional Murano glass techniques.

The pendant lamp "Halley" is named after Halley's Comet, while the table lamp "Hack" is dedicated to the great Italian astronomer Margherita Hack. The "Hiades" table lamp (Iadi in Italian), featuring a base and lampshade, is associated with a star cluster very close to our solar system. All are home accessories created with innovative materials.

Furthermore, the sixth collection from "Armani / Casa Exclusive Textiles by Rubelli," a collaboration with Italian textile manufacturer Rubelli, was also unveiled. This year's collection is inspired by distinctive old weaving patterns from handlooms, reinterpreted through special weaving techniques.

On April 7th, ARMANI / CASA launched its newly revamped website, featuring updated content and graphics. It showcases all ARMANI / CASA collections and interior design services.
