Carl Hansen & Søn introduces a table and bench set designed by Børge Mogensen, offering a foldable solution for outdoor relaxation.

Carl Hansen & Søn is reissuing the outdoor "BM1771 Table" and "BM1871 Bench" set, originally designed by Børge Mogensen in 1971.
The foldable design promotes rich moments of relaxation outdoors with family and friends.
According to Børge Mogensen's two sons, the set was designed with use in their own garden in mind. The construction is based on slatted wood, with the table legs designed to be unobtrusive no matter where one sits.
The simple design shows a strong influence from Shaker furniture of the 1700s-1800s, and at the same time, it can be said to be a style that greatly influenced functionalism, which Børge Mogensen was devoted to.
The materials emphasize sustainability, with FSC®-certified teak wood used to achieve high durability. For the bench, cushions are available, stitched with channel stitching reminiscent of feather stitching. The water-repellent fabric is ideal for outdoor use.
We highly recommend paying attention to Carl Hansen & Søn's reissue series, which offers the same level of comfort indoors as it does outdoors.
