A Dining Chair Named for the Japanese Word for "Essence"
DePadova, an Italian furniture maker renowned for its commitment to "warm, high-quality, and comfortable furniture," has produced numerous masterpieces. The "SO" dining chair, designed by Naoto Fukasawa, one of Japan's leading product designers, was born from the question: "What is the essence of a chair?"
Named after the Japanese word "so," which means "unaltered" or "as it is," the chair strips away all unnecessary ornamentation to achieve a minimalist form that exudes elegance. The combination of a dyed ash frame and leather seat emphasizes its refined presence while offering exceptional comfort.
