The dining chair "PK1" by the legendary Danish designer Poul Kjærholm, first introduced in 1955. This product, which was Kjærholm's first dining chair design and became his signature piece, is now released by Carl Hansen & Søn.


While retaining the form that highlights the beauty of the metal and the organic flag halyard, the size has been slightly adjusted to accommodate users with larger body types. This ensures the inherited comfort without compromising the originality.

The frame is available in three finishes: stainless steel, chrome, and black powder coating. The flag halyard for the seat and back can be chosen in natural or black. Furthermore, an outdoor version of "PK1" with weather-resistant flag halyard (light brown or black) has been added to the collection. Both versions can be stacked up to five chairs high.
