A Product Embodiment of the "Super Normal" Design Philosophy

Herman Miller Japan, the furniture maker headquartered in the United States, introduces the Sayl Chair, designed by product designer Naoto Fukasawa. This marks the first product he has designed for a North American manufacturer.

The Sayl Chair is an executive chair that doubles as lounge seating, offering relaxation to the sitter. Despite its simple appearance, its thoughtfully considered silhouette and refined form are striking.

The Sayl Chair, an embodiment of Fukasawa's "Super Normal" design philosophy, is available as a multi-task chair with casters and adjustable seat height, or as a conference chair with a fixed seat height. For both, the backrest can be chosen in either high-back or mid-back versions.

It features sophisticated textile colors, with a choice of two base finishes: black or polished aluminum.

The lineup is set to expand from October 2016 to include the Sayl Lounge Chair & Ottoman, Sayl Guest Chair, and Sayl Table.
