Polypropylene Seat Option Suitable for Outdoor Use
The design duo Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, whose star is rapidly rising, have added a new lineup to their "Officina" collection, first released in 2014. The "Officina Chair" is a piece characterized by its industrial textures and contemporary silhouette.
The frame is shaped using "forging," a now-uncommon technique of hammering steel. The frame is available in two finishes: chrome-plated and painted. The seat is offered in a polypropylene version, which has a steel-like appearance and can be used outdoors, and a premium leather-upholstered version for a more substantial feel.
