The angled cut corners hold a secret
The wooden cutting board "sashimi" boasts a beautiful finish that makes you want to place it directly on the dining table, and its perfectly balanced size is also appealing. Its elegant form, with all sides cut at an angle, resembles fresh sashimi with sharp edges. When lifting it from the table, the angled corners function as handles, making it easy to pick up.
Available in two types of wood, maple and oak, the maple version, which more faithfully embodies the concept, undergoes numerous processes not typically found in standard products. This includes meticulous selection of wood grain to achieve beautiful streaks like tuna sashimi, and processing with adjusted angles. The oak version uses wood also found in whiskey barrels, renowned for its hardness and durability.
It comes with a dedicated stand that expands storage options. Although its simple structure might initially make one question its stability, the precise cuts ensure a secure fit between the board and the stand. It can be placed vertically or horizontally, making it a welcome addition for small spaces in the kitchen or dining area.
