2012 New Collection: Evolved Tables


Last spring, TIME & STYLE's innovative product line underwent a significant renewal, with the addition of three new table models and nineteen variations. Simultaneously, new tableware for the dining table was also unveiled,new wine and beer glasses.

The new tables come in three designs with nineteen variations, offering a rich combination of sizes and materials.

The pursuit of beautiful forms, achieved by shaving solid wood legs to their thinnest. The originality that adds unique presence and functionality to the table by processing the edges.Further refining the characteristic TIME & STYLE approach of carving wood to achieve a coexistence of sharpness and softness, these tables embody an innovative material quality.

OPUS
The "L-shaped" legs, meticulously carved from solid wood, and the tabletop, with its thinly shaved edges and central slit, lend a sense of lightness to the space.
The distinctive legs do not restrict seating positions, and the tabletop slit allows for flexible functionality, such as passing through PC cables. The wide range of sizes is also a key appeal.

LOTUS
A dining table with gently curved legs that vertically support the tabletop. The tabletop, thinly shaved around the edges, features a subtle raised rim, akin to a shallow dish, providing both aesthetic appeal and a functional spill guard.
Its serene and minimalist presence embodies a timeless Japanese aesthetic, creating a refined tension within the space.

RAIN
A solid wood dining table where the organically curved, meticulously finished tabletop appears to be supported by a frame and four legs, designed with gentle, rounded contours.
It achieves a balance that fuses the rich tactile quality derived from material-focused carving with modern design.

Currently, at "TIME & STYLE ISETAN SHINJUKU" on the 5th floor of Isetan Shinjuku Main Building, until April 17th (Tuesday), alongside the unveiling of these three new table models, TIME & STYLE is also showcasing its "JAPAN STYLE" collection of low tables and floor chairs, embodying Japanese living.

Exhibition "Vessels of White Porcelain" by Ceramic Artist Katsutoshi Mizuno

At the TIME & STYLE Midtown store, from April 14th (Saturday) to May 6th (Sunday), Katsutoshi Mizuno's exhibition "Vessels of White Porcelain" will be held. Approximately 50 to 60 pieces of white porcelain will be displayed, including polygonal and floral-shaped vessels created using the mold-pressing technique (pressing thinly thrown clay onto a plaster mold), as well as new pieces formed by hand-bending thinly rolled clay. Artist appearance dates: April 14th, 15th, 16th.
