PASTOE

A Dutch Wire Chair Inspired by Eames

PASTOE, a historic furniture brand established in Utrecht, the Netherlands, in 1913. Case Braakman, who served as chief designer from 1945 to 1978, is known for creating a series of modern furniture designs influenced by mid-century American furniture after traveling to the United States during his tenure. The wire chair collection, released in 1958, is one such example. Although production was once discontinued, the collection began to be reissued in 2011 alongside a reassessment of Braakman's work, and is now available for purchase in Japan. Why not bring this timeless design into your space?
