Following the success of the "BEAR FLOOR LAMP" and "HAMBURGER LAMP," UNDERCOVER and MEDICOM TOY present a new collaborative lamp. This time, the focus is on "Mr. Buttons," a character created by London-based graphic artist WILL SWEENEY.

Will Sweeney is a London-based graphic artist who studied illustration at The Royal College of Art, earning his master's degree in 1998. After graduating, he began working as a freelance illustrator, designing for magazines such as "Sleaze Nation" and "Dazed & Confused," and producing catalogs for Silas and Maria. He has also contributed to numerous client projects for brands like Stella McCartney, Audi, and Stussy. Deeply involved in the music scene, he has created artwork for album covers for Beck and Mark Ronson.

In 2005, he released the graphic short comic "Tales From Greenfuzz." Around the same time, he held a joint exhibition, "“Alakazam!” magical works by Susumu Mukai & Will Sweeney," with Susumu Mukai of the music unit "ZONGAMIN" at Colette and BEAMS T HARAJUKU. In 2007, the "Mutatis Mutandis" exhibition by Alakazam (Mukai & Sweeney) was held at the UNDERCOVER Aoyama exhibition. To commemorate the event, they created collaboration T-shirts with UNDERCOVER, deepening their mutual relationship.

Will Sweeney, who has held exhibitions worldwide and expanded his fantastical and ever-changing worldview, also has a deep connection with Medicom Toy. Previously, he participated in the "WORLD WIDE TOUR BE@RBRICK," released the soft vinyl figure "GLOWSKULL," and produced items using textile designs, such as backpacks and pouches, through FABRICK.

The "UNDERCOVER Mr. Buttons lamp" being released this time is a mushroom-like character room lamp. The lampshade emits a fantastical glow in four colors. With its cute yet dark aesthetic that perfectly matches UNDERCOVER's worldview, this is an unprecedented lifestyle gear.
