Following last year's popular "UNDERCOVER Mr. Buttons lamp," a new lamp from UNDERCOVER × WILL SWEENEY × MEDICOM TOY is here.

WILL SWEENEY is a graphic artist based in London. He has a large fanbase in Japan due to his work on graphics for streetwear brands like SILAS and STUSSY, and has deepened his relationship with UNDERCOVER, including holding the "Mutatis Mutandis" exhibition with Amos Books (Susumu Mukai & Will Sweeney) at their Aoyama store in 2007.

With MEDICOM TOY, he has participated in "BE@RBRICK WORLD WIDE TOUR" and released items such as the soft vinyl figure "GLOWSKULL" and textile-designed items like backpacks and pouches from FABRICK®️.

This "UNDERCOVER Helmut Hot Dog Man Lamp" is inspired by the graphic short comic "Tales From Greenfuzz," released by Will Sweeney through AmosBooks in 2005. The work depicts the battle between Slingsby Sandwich, a sandwich trying to save his girlfriend Rosa from evil gangsters in the fictional city of Rastapopoulos, and the gang's boss, Hot Dog Man. This lamp humorously brings the unique taste of that story to life in three dimensions.

At first glance, Helmut Hot Dog Man doesn't seem menacing, but the skull details on the shoulder clasps and the UNDERCOVER badge on his left chest are notable features. When the lamp is lit, only the hot dog part glows in the dark, a playful touch that will delight any junk food enthusiast.
