Showcasing Future Projects


The "ALESSI/ECAL" Project is Underway


At ALESSI SHOP AOYAMA, an exhibition titled "Alessi - The Dream Factory ECAL/ALESSI" is currently being held until Sunday, November 6th. The exhibition showcases prototypes of desk accessories developed through a workshop between ALESSI, celebrating its 90th anniversary, and students from ECAL (University of Art and Design Lausanne) in Switzerland.

Some Works to be Released as ALESSI's New Collection in 2012


ECAL is a Swiss university of art and design directed by Alexis Georgacopoulos. The "Alessi & ECA Project" presented on the second floor of ALESSI SHOP AOYAMA was first unveiled at Milan Design Week in April of this year.

Ten selected works from a total of 17 pieces are on display. Erwan Pugin, Head of the Industrial Design Department at ECAL, and Augustin Scott de Martinville, a lecturer at ECAL, also visited Japan. Both participated in a talk session at "TIDE TABLE" during Design Tide Tokyo.
