Ear picks shaped like eyeglasses, born in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, a renowned eyewear production area.
"sabae mimikaki (Sabae Ear Pick)"
Not for wearing on the ear, but for cleaning inside.—The "sabae mimikaki (Sabae Ear Pick)," an ear pick shaped like eyeglasses, jointly developed by Cement Produce Design—a design crew active borderlessly across graphics, web, products, and CI—and an eyewear material processing manufacturer in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, will be exhibited and sold at the Tide Market of DESIGNTIDE TOKYO 2012.

From "comfort of wearing" to "comfort of cleaning." Focus on its elegant form.
Sabae City in Fukui Prefecture has long been known as an eyewear production area, now accounting for nearly 90% of Japan's domestic eyewear production. Utilizing its high technical capabilities and "cellulose acetate," a material pursued for its "comfort of wearing," the "sabae mimikaki (Sabae Ear Pick)" has been born, designed with the form of eyeglasses in mind.
Cellulose acetate, produced by Mazzucchelli, an Italian company known for its unique patterns and colors, is a material with excellent elasticity and moisture absorption, offering high compatibility with the human body. The tip of the ear pick is combined with high-grade titanium.
Furthermore, its unique packaging, which evokes a certain international flair, would make it a delightful gift.
