A Luxurious Gadget Feel

"Master & Dynamic" is a brand established in 2012 in New York, USA. It produces headphones as sound tools that inspire creativity. Despite not yet having a full-scale launch in Japan, its presence is already felt domestically, with its products being handled by select import apparel shops.

The flagship model, the "MH40" headphones, have been featured in media outlets such as "Bloomberg" and "Esquire." Recently, the brand also announced a collaboration with fashion label "Proenza Schouler," garnering significant attention.

The earcups are crafted from robust aluminum. By suppressing resonance, this material enhances the performance of the 45mm neodymium driver units, contributing to superior sound quality. The matte finish further accentuates their premium feel.

Heavy grain cowhide is used for the headband and earcups, while soft-touch lambskin, ensuring comfort even during extended listening sessions, is applied to the underside of the headband and the earpads. Both feature a luxurious finish, creating a sophisticated look that functions as a fashion accessory.

The sound tuning is meticulously calibrated to achieve a natural, warm tone, prioritizing the listening experience. Furthermore, the expansive soundstage produced by the high-performance driver units renders audio sources beautifully, preserving the sense of live performance and intricate details.
