A home theater system you'll want to touch
Harman International will release the harman kardon "SABRE (Saber) SB35," an 8.1ch home theater set of a slim soundbar and wireless subwoofer, in early March. This new product offers powerful surround sound and high-quality audio despite its thin, wall-mountable design. OPENERS had the opportunity to see, touch, and hear this model before its release.

8.1ch surround sound, like being in a movie theater
The harman kardon "SABRE SB35" is characterized by its beautifully formed aluminum body. The slim soundbar measures a mere 32mm in thickness. The combination of its smooth lines and luxurious metallic texture is exceptionally pleasing to the touch. It's a smart design that makes you wonder if speakers are truly housed within, yet it boasts a powerful integrated amplifier with a total output of 140W.
The wireless subwoofer, responsible for deep bass, is equipped with a 100W amplifier. It is also slim, at just 86mm. With the included attachments, it can be wall-mounted like the soundbar. Furthermore, it offers unprecedented placement flexibility, such as being laid horizontally to fit under a rack, a feature not found in previous subwoofers.
We actually watched a movie with this model. The realistic, powerful surround sound, which you wouldn't expect from its body design, truly made us feel as if we were watching in a cinema. We were also able to fully appreciate the detailed sound that made every line of dialogue clear. Originally developed for American homes with larger living spaces, this model possesses ample power for use in Japanese homes.
The aluminum body on the back has a luxurious finish.
The wireless subwoofer can also be placed horizontally.
The unit features include Bluetooth for easy wireless connection with smartphones and PCs, HARMAN VOLUME to automatically adjust volume variations in content like TV programs, movies, and commercials, and an IR repeater that allows the soundbar itself to act as a receiver for the TV's remote control. The included dedicated remote control has an aluminum back. The pursuit of high quality extends to the finest details.
It balances well even with large TVs of 50 inches or more, exuding the presence of a high-end appliance that complements a modern room.
