Bang & Olufsen introduces the home speaker 'Beosound Balance.' This product offers a design that harmonizes with interiors and delivers high-quality sound. It will be released first at Bang & Olufsen specialty stores starting Saturday, March 14, 2020.

Warm Design Using Oak and Knit Textiles is Appealing
Bang & Olufsen's new home speaker, 'Beosound Balance,' is captivating with its design, which was inspired by interior objects.
It features a soft, rounded silhouette, with solid oak used for the base of the speaker and seamlessly knitted fabric for the speaker itself. Its appearance seems to blend into any space.
This was designed in collaboration with Benjamin Hubert, founder of the British industrial design studio LAYER.
To further harmonize with interiors, meticulous attention has been paid to the interface.
Through highly precise aluminum processing technology that transmits light, the interface automatically appears when the user approaches the speaker. Volume can be adjusted by swiping the contour of the top plate. You can also skip tracks or pause playback by touching the operation icons.
When you move away from the speaker, the interface subtly fades out, leaving only the beautifully finished aluminum surface on top.
And of course, you can enjoy the high-quality sound that is characteristic of Bang & Olufsen.
This product is composed of seven uniquely positioned speaker drivers. Two woofer drivers are placed facing each other, designed to suppress unwanted vibrations.
Not only is the sound quality high, but by reducing strong bass, you can enjoy natural and comfortable low frequencies without worrying about neighbors in a residential environment.
It also features two sound modes: 'Omni mode,' which fills the area around the speaker with uniform sound, and 'Directivity control mode,' which allows you to direct sound directly to your desired listening position.
When initially setting up Beosound Balance, Active Room Compensation is guided. The speaker system's built-in microphone analyzes the acoustic characteristics of each room space and applies a filter based on acoustic reflection measurements to correct the sound for optimal performance, creating a more personalized environment.
In addition, it supports Google Chromecast, Apple AirPlay 2, and Spotify Connect. The speaker is equipped with major voice assistant functions such as Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, allowing for complete hands-free music playback and other operations when connected to Wi-Fi.
