The Over-Ear Headphones Inheriting ONKYO Audio's DNA: A Commitment to Sound
The over-ear headphones, dubbed "ES-FC300," evoke the image of "tiny, tiny speakers" with a design that emphasizes the joy of ownership and utilizes aluminum for strength in various parts. The housing features a design inspired by audio volume controls, delivering ONKYO's signature high-fidelity sound quality while also being stylish enough to complement any fashion.
Leveraging expertise gained from speaker development, the sound quality is achieved through a dual-chamber structure that controls airflow to maximize the efficiency of the limited space within the housing, resulting in exquisite resonance and rich bass.
The headphones, with their beautiful aluminum finish, are available in three colors: black, violet, and white. The black model comes with a red cable, while the violet and white models feature cables in matching colors. The flat, elastomer cable is designed to resist tangling in bags, reducing hassle.
To address cable breakage, a common issue with headphones, the "ES-FC300" features a detachable cable design. This allows for long-term use by simply replacing the cable if it breaks. Individual cables are planned for sale, making it possible to mix and match colors, such as pairing a violet or white cable with the black headphones. Inner-ear models and optional cables are also scheduled for release around the same time.
