Hi-Res Radio Cassette Recorder "Aurex Series"
TOSHIBA Lifestyle Electronics Trading has released new models in its "Aurex Series" CD radio cassette recorder, which supports cassette tapes and is designed to enhance various audio sources to high-resolution quality. These models were sequentially released in March and April 2018. They allow users to play cassette tapes and CDs with high sound quality, record to SD cards and USB memory, and easily enjoy a variety of music sources.

Supports a Variety of Music Sources
Following the release of its first high-resolution radio cassette recorder in 2016, TOSHIBA Lifestyle Electronics Trading is sequentially releasing the new cassette tape-compatible CD radio cassette recorder "TY-AK1" in late March 2018, and the CD radio "TY-AH1" with Bluetooth® wireless connectivity in late April.
A key feature is the "Up-Conversion" function, which easily enhances various audio sources to high-resolution quality. By supplementing the data lost during the compression of compressed audio sources such as music CDs and MP3s (non-high-resolution sources), this function converts the sound quality to a frequency range and high-resolution audio equivalent to high-resolution sound sources.
It can also convert audio sources from music CDs, MP3s, radio, and cassette tapes (TY-AK1 only). Your everyday music will be revived with a clarity, dynamism, and natural sound quality unlike anything you've heard before.
Furthermore, it is equipped with 2-way speakers capable of reproducing high frequencies above 40kHz and a digital amplifier with a practical maximum output of 40W. Combined with the optimally tuned high-output digital amplifier, it vividly expresses the appeal of high-resolution sound, from rich lows to crisp highs. The "TY-AH1," equipped with Bluetooth® functionality, can also play high-resolution audio files (FLAC, WAV) stored on SD cards or USB memory by connecting directly to a PC.
The unit features a large, convenient handle for portability and includes a remote control, allowing you to enjoy a variety of music sources anytime, anywhere, with ease.
