Such Adorable Architecture!
"Architecture for Dogs" is an architectural project for the happiness of dogs and humans, exploring new possibilities in architecture by re-examining it from a dog's perspective, under the direction of graphic designer Kenya Hara. The official website, ARCHITECTURE FOR DOGS, was launched in November 2012. It showcased 13 "Architecture for Dogs" works designed by 13 world-renowned architects and designers, along with freely downloadable blueprints.

Subsequently, the "Architecture for Dogs" exhibition, showcasing the actual works, held its first exhibition at "Design Miami/" in Miami in December 2012. This was followed by an exhibition at the Long Beach Museum of Art in Los Angeles in June 2013. Now, it has been decided that the exhibition will be held for the first time in Japan at "TOTO Gallery • MA" in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo.

Director Kenya Hara explains the concept of this project as follows:

"Humans have created environments on a human scale. Ergonomics is a vision for environmental formation based on the human body. However, looking at the small dogs that stay by our side, I feel a certain new potential for architecture. What would an environment be like if we imagined it on a dog's scale?"

The architecture conceived by these architects for dogs. We highly recommend visiting the venue to experience the scale proposed from that perspective.
