Kagure, Japan's first shop to champion green fashion with organic cotton apparel and natural material雑貨, is hosting an exhibition of accessories by Arisa Kawai at its Omotesando and Marunouchi locations.

Kagure's Omotesando store utilizes natural materials not only for its merchandise but also for its interior design. The Marunouchi store, facing the main street and featuring an invitingly open show window, also hosts periodic joint exhibitions with the Omotesando location.
This marks Arisa Kawai's first solo exhibition at Kagure. She crafts accessories using natural objects she collects herself, such as nuts, petals, and seashells. Her pieces encapsulate a deep respect for nature and an appreciation of its beauty, distilled into their "as it is" forms.
We invite you to experience the latest works by Arisa Kawai, an artist whose practice is deeply intertwined with the natural world, surrounded by plants and other organic materials, transcending the conventional boundaries of jewelry.
Arisa KAWAI
Born in 1982 in Hiroshima Prefecture. In 2009, she began creating accessories using plants through self-study, holding her first solo exhibition six months later in 2010. Since then, she has presented works focusing on plants found in the sea and mountains, driftwood, seashells, and minerals. In 2012, she opened "e.n.s (Ensu)", an atelier and shop, in Kyoto. She continues her creative endeavors daily, engaging honestly with natural objects as they are.
