Kansai's First "Phil Park Kyoto Kawaramachi (tentative name)" Features a Wamo-Modern Theme
On February 21st, Phil Company received the Excellence Prize in the "New Business Division" at the Chiyoda Business Grand Prize, the largest business contest in Chiyoda Ward. The award recognized the novelty and innovation of their service, which adds value to existing parking facilities.
Phil Company already boasts approximately 30 "aerial shop" projects. Their concept of utilizing the airspace above open-air parking lots is a completely new service that no one had pursued before, and it is gaining attention as a new business that makes "what if" scenarios a reality.
Furthermore, by transforming the previously dim image of coin parking lots into bright, safe, and gathering places, they contribute to regional revitalization. They create unique spaces where "parking, people, and plants" can coexist, generating various benefits such as increased parking lot occupancy rates and rooftop greenery.
"Phil Park Kyoto Kawaramachi (tentative name)," completed in April and scheduled for a grand opening in late June, will be the first "aerial shop" in the Kansai region, realized with a wamo-modern design that complements Kyoto's landscape. Its emergence in Kyoto, a city with stringent architectural standards and where new construction is exceptionally challenging, is noteworthy.
"Phil Park Kyoto Kawaramachi (tentative name)" is planned to feature parking on the first floor, a cafe on the second, a restaurant on the third, and a garden lounge on the rooftop, already drawing attention as an environmentally friendly structure.
