July's AUTHENTIC ICON: The Masterpiece "LC4" Chaise Longue

As Cassina's annual project this year, AUTHENTIC ICONS introduces one item each month at Cassina ixc. directly managed stores.

January featured the "LC2" sofa, designed by the iconic Le Corbusier; February, the "Cab" chair by Mario Bellini; March, the Compasso d'Oro award-winning "Maralunga" sofa; April, the "Superleggera" chair, a fusion of Gio Ponti's research and Cassina's craftsmanship; May, the "Petalo" table designed by Charlotte Perriand; June, the "Barrel" chair by Frank Lloyd Wright; and July, the "LC4" chaise longue by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand.
Also on display are items to be featured from August onwards: the Hill House chair designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in August, the Wink armchair designed by Toshiyuki Kita in September, the Red and Blue chair designed by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld in October, the Luisa armchair designed by Franco Albini in November, and the Feltri armchair designed by Gaetano Pesce in December.

This is a rare opportunity to see the "12 Designers & 12 Icons" – 12 items by 12 designers that symbolize great value – gathered in one place.
