An Encounter with Beautiful and Original Designer Furniture
In Nordic countries, furniture is treated as a lifelong possession, a work of art for the home, its value undiminished by age. Fritz Hansen's beautiful furniture resonates deeply with the traditional Japanese values and aesthetic sensibilities of cherishing and using good things for a long time.
Fritz Hansen was founded in 1872 by the young cabinetmaker Fritz Hansen. The store showcases not only classics by Danish masters like Arne Jacobsen and Poul Kjærholm, but also the latest creations born from collaborations with emerging designers active worldwide.
Furthermore, the FH Mini Museum on the first floor exhibits rare vintage items, offering a glimpse into Fritz Hansen's history and philosophy.
In the serene, hideaway-like space of Aoyama, one can experience an interior lifestyle that is passed down from parent to child, imprinting a shared family history.
