Tokujin Yoshioka's Latest Installation at the 50th Milan Salone

Tokujin Yoshioka, who received the A&W Designer of the Year 2011 award from Germany's "A&W Architektur & Wohnen" as the world's most talented designer, also garnered popularity at the "Tokujin Yoshioka-A&W Designer of the Year" exhibition held in January at the imm cologne International Furniture Fair 2011 to commemorate the award.

At this year's Milan Salone, starting April 12 (Tuesday), he will simultaneously present his "MOON" chair series and the "TWILIGHT" installation.

In the "TWILIGHT" installation, countless light rays emanate within the white space of the entire MOROSO showroom, creating a scene reminiscent of light filtering through clouds and descending to earth. These light beams, also known as the "angel's ladder," are a beautiful natural phenomenon, and within this light, the "MOON" chair series appears.

The "MOON" chair series, with its diverse material textures, reflects light to reveal surfaces that display a variety of expressions, much like moonlight.
