A New Shooting Brake Model Added

Introduced to Japan in 2017, the Volkswagen Arteon is a model characterized by its fastback style with a large hatch incorporating sports car design elements. It has now received a minor change, evolving into an even more stylish and dynamic design. Furthermore, a wagon-type Shooting Brake model, previously unavailable, has been added.
The exterior has been refreshed, focusing on the front and rear designs. The long, wide bonnet, distinctive radiator grille, and LED headlights have been incorporated, creating a more refined atmosphere.
The interior also features a premium and luxurious feel, with the top of the instrument panel and door trims covered in leatherette and accented with stitching. Depending on the grade, the second layer of the dash panel differs: the "Elegance" features new wood panels, while the "R-Line" incorporates aluminum panels, each creating an interior ambiance suited to its respective color scheme.
Safety equipment has also been significantly enhanced. The "Travel Assist" system, which supports driving at all speeds within the same lane, is now standard on all models. It assists in maintaining a set speed, distance to the vehicle ahead, and lane position, contributing to improved safety and reduced fatigue on long journeys, such as on highways.
The infotainment system adopts a new generation system with constant connectivity. Combined with the online service "We Connect," it allows access to the latest traffic information and enables confirmation of vehicle information, such as whether windows have been left open or the vehicle's parking location, via a dedicated smartphone app.
The powertrain consists of a 2.0-liter TSI engine producing a maximum output of 200 kW (272 PS) and a maximum torque of 350 Nm. This is paired with a 7-speed DSG and the "4MOTION" all-wheel-drive system. Adaptive Chassis Control (DCC), which allows for ride comfort adjustments, is also standard on all models.
The body colors include seven options, such as the Kingfisher Blue Metallic exclusive to the "Elegance" and the Lapis Blue Metallic exclusive to the "R-Line."
Prices range from 5,679,000 to 6,246,000 yen for the Arteon, and from 5,879,000 to 6,446,000 yen for the Shooting Brake.
