A premium grade emphasizing design is added to the T-Cross

Volkswagen Group Japan has added the "TSI R-Line," a premium grade that further accentuates the design of the compact SUV "T-Cross." Sales have commenced.

The sporty premium grade "TSI R-Line" has been introduced to the "T-Cross," the most compact model in Volkswagen's SUV lineup.

The "TSI R-Line" is equipped with exclusive exterior and interior features and adopts newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels. Furthermore, the Safety Package, which includes driving assistance systems such as the "Lane Assist" lane keeping system and "Park Assist" parking assistance system, is also standard equipment, whereas these are optional on other grades.

The powertrain is the same as other grades, combining a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder TSI engine with a 7-speed DSG transmission.

The body colors include seven options, including the exclusive "Reflex Silver Metallic" for the "TSI R-Line."

The "T-Cross TSI R-Line" is priced at 3.45 million yen, while the entry-grade "TSI Active" is 2.78 million yen and the "TSI Style" is 3.03 million yen.
