Audi Japan announced on May 19th the release of the "Audi Q5 S line competition," a limited edition model with enhanced features and equipment, based on the premium mid-size SUV "Q5." The model will be available starting the same day.

The base for this limited edition model is the Q5 40TDI quattro sport, equipped with a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder electronically controlled common rail turbo diesel engine that combines excellent environmental performance with a high output of 190ps/400Nm. This iteration aims to be a rare model that further enhances the sportiness and individuality of the S line.

The specifications include standard equipment from popular packages such as the "Assistance Package" (LED headlights, LED combination taillights, Audi pre sense rear, Audi side assist, Virtual Cockpit), the "S Line Package" (S line bumpers, door sill trims with S line logo, S line exterior logos, black headlining, Alcantara/leather with S line logo, S line steering wheel emblem, stainless steel pedals, sport suspension, multi-color ambient lighting), and the "Black Styling Package." Additionally, popular items like Matrix LED headlights, privacy glass/acoustic glass (front side), and seat heaters (front/rear) are standard.

Further special equipment includes exterior features such as Manhattan Gray metallic contrast paint and 20-inch Audi Sport 5-arm rotor design alloy wheels.

The interior is appointed with a 3-spoke leather multifunction flat-bottom steering wheel and piano black decorative panels.

The body colors offered are five options: Turbo Blue, Ibis White, Glacier White Metallic, Navarra Blue Metallic, and Daytona Gray Pearl Effect. The price is 7.74 million yen, with an additional 90,000 yen for Metallic, Pearl Effect, and Turbo Blue.
