Packed with Cutting-Edge Connected Technology and Enhanced Safety Features

The Pathfinder, meaning "pioneer" or "pathfinder" in English, makes its debut as the fifth-generation model 35 years after its introduction in 1986. This full model change features a refreshed design along with improvements in connected technology and safety performance.
The design expresses robustness and performance through thick blister fenders and a shortened front overhang. In homage to the first generation, Nissan's signature design elements such as the V-Motion grille combined with a three-slot grille, C-shaped headlights, and a flowing roofline have been incorporated.
Furthermore, the C-pillar and roof feature a two-tone color scheme, a first for the Pathfinder. The rear adopts a square design reminiscent of the original model.
The powertrain features a 3.5-liter direct-injection V6 engine across all grades, producing a maximum output of 284 ps and approximately 351 Nm (259 lb-ft) of torque. This is paired with a new 9-speed automatic transmission. The 4WD models are equipped with a new Intelligent 4WD system that includes a Drive & Terrain Mode Selector offering seven modes: Normal, Sand, Snow, and Eco, among others.
The interior features a newly adopted 12.3-inch digital display, complemented by an 10.8-inch head-up display. While the standard model seats eight, a grade with captain's seats in the second row is available for the first time in the Pathfinder's history. The removable center console can be detached without tools, offering versatile usage options.
Additionally, both SV and SL grades are equipped with Nissan's ProPILOT Assist, a first for the Pathfinder, which combines steering control and Intelligent Cruise Control to support driving on highways by integrating acceleration, braking, and steering.
Furthermore, all grades come standard with Nissan Safety Shield 360, which includes Intelligent Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection and Blind Spot Warning.
The model lineup includes 2WD and 4WD options, with four grades available: S, SV, SL, and Platinum. Detailed information will be released prior to the launch in summer 2021.
