Powertrain Features a Newly Developed 1.5-Liter Inline 4-Cylinder Turbo Engine

The "Q2," a compact SUV that debuted in 2017 and is characterized by its distinctive and contrasting interior and exterior design within the Audi family, has received its first major facelift.
This update includes a refreshed exterior. The octagonal Singleframe, with its polygonal motif inserts, is positioned slightly lower than before, emphasizing the width of the front section. This, along with the LED headlights, creates a sharp impression.
The front edge of the hood features a three-segment slit, evoking the image of the classic Audi Sport Quattro. Furthermore, the design is made more sporty with a larger front bumper, a powerful-looking rear bumper incorporating a pentagonal motif, and a newly designed rear diffuser.
The interior features redesigned air vents and a new shift lever. Decorative panels with a diamond-paint finish in silver-grey have been added. Opting for the S line plus package includes sports seats, an aluminum-look interior, and stainless steel pedals.
The instrument cluster incorporates the 12.3-inch Audi virtual cockpit display. It is equipped with convenient infotainment systems such as the MMI navigation system, Audi connect, and smartphone interface.
The power unit is a newly developed 1.5-liter inline 4-cylinder gasoline turbo engine, producing a maximum output of 110 kW (150 ps) and a maximum torque of 250 Nm, thanks to features like a high-pressure direct injection system. Power is sent to the front wheels via a 7-speed S tronic transmission. Fuel efficiency is also improved by incorporating a cylinder deactivation system that shuts down two cylinders under low load conditions.
The model lineup consists of two grades, Advanced and S line, both equipped with the same power unit. Driver assistance systems include the adaptive cruise assist, which integrates the conventional adaptive cruise control, active lane assist, and traffic jam assist, as well as side assist, all available as a safety package.
To commemorate the Q2's minor change, a limited "Q2 1st edition" model is also offered in 125 units. Based on the high-grade S line model, it comes standard with the Convenience & Assistance package, Navigation package, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Body color options include the new Apple Green metallic, a first for Audi, or Arrow Grey pearl effect.
Five new body colors are available for the Q2 range, including Apple Green metallic. The color lineup for the blades has also been updated.
Pricing is set at 3.94 million yen for the Advanced, 4.30 million yen for the S line, and 5.44 million yen for the limited "Q2 1st edition."
