Nissan Motor Corporation has implemented a minor model change for its SUV, the X-TRAIL. Variations for Every Scene
The most noticeable changes in this minor model update are to the exterior. The adoption of a horizontal-bar-style front grille and daytime running lights that are always illuminated enhances the sense of quality. Inside, the upper part of the instrument panel has been changed to black, creating a sophisticated impression. Modern updates include the standardization of USB power ports to TYPE-C for all seats.
In terms of advanced technology, Nissan has adopted the Google-equipped NissanConnect infotainment system for the first time in Japan. This system allows access to Google Maps, Google Assistant, and the Google Play Store. Additionally, the "Intelligent Around View Monitor" with 3D view and Invisible Hood view functions, also a first for Nissan in Japan, enhances safety.
Notably, the expanded grade lineup now offers an X-TRAIL perfectly suited for a wider range of users.
AUTECH inherits the craftsmanship cultivated through diverse custom car production, offering a brand line that is both sporty and luxurious. With a concept of "premium sporty" aimed at users who appreciate fine details in materials, its iconic color is blue, inspired by the sea and sky of Shonan Chigasaki, the brand's birthplace.

This minor model change enhances functionality by equipping the AUTECH with the latest Google-equipped infotainment system and camera technology, similar to the base model. Furthermore, following the Serena and Note Aura, an "AUTECH SPORTS SPEC" has been newly introduced for the X-TRAIL.

The "AUTECH SPORTS SPEC" features performance dampers that effectively reduce input to the chassis. Combined with Michelin PRIMACY4 tires, renowned for their premium comfort, the suspension specifications and power steering characteristics have been specially tuned.
In addition to dedicated tuning of the computer controlling acceleration feel, the "e-4ORCE" control system, which optimizes front-rear drive force distribution for each drive mode, achieves reassuring handling and a smooth, refined ride. This model, meticulously refined by experienced test drivers, is equipped with a "TUNED BY NMC" emblem inside, signifying the development team's dedication.
The newly established "ROCK CREEK" grade further emphasizes the "tough gear" DNA inherited from the first-generation model. Aimed at users who enjoy the outdoors, it comes standard with exclusive interior and exterior parts and waterproof seats.

The exterior features a black base, with a dedicated front grille, front bumper, and alloy wheels accented by "Lava Red," inspired by volcanic rock. The design emphasizes the SUV's robustness and presence.

The interior is also predominantly black, with Lava Red accents on the seats, door trim, instrument panel, and steering wheel. The waterproof seats are practical for outdoor activities, allowing users to enjoy camping or marine sports without worrying about mud or water, making it ideal for active lifestyles.
The "ROCK CREEK" is offered with a new two-tone color option combining Canyon Beige and Super Black, one of Nissan's new colors. A total of seven color variations are available.
And for those who seek driving performance, the "X-TRAIL NISMO" is available.
Developed with the concept of a "Grand Touring SUV that delivers passionate experiences," the "X-TRAIL NISMO" embodies the NISMO road car philosophy of "a car that drives faster, more enjoyably, and with greater peace of mind." Its features include aerodynamic performance leveraging racing technology and high driving performance through dedicated tuning.
On the chassis side, the KYB Swing Valve shock absorbers are adopted for the first time in a Nissan model, suppressing SUV-specific body roll while ensuring a comfortable ride. The e-4ORCE electric all-wheel-drive control technology has been specially tuned as "NISMO tuned e-4ORCE," increasing rear-wheel drive force distribution to achieve superior line tracing during cornering acceleration. The Michelin PILOT SPORT EV tires, combined with 20-inch wheels and wider rims, enhance steering response.

The exterior balances NISMO's distinctive style with SUV functionality. Design cues such as the dark chrome accent above the grille and the NISMO logo on the bumper lower finisher clearly identify it as a NISMO.

The interior is predominantly black with red accents throughout, achieving a balance of luxury and sportiness. Optional "NISMO-tuned RECARO sports seats" are available, offering excellent support during cornering, power recline, and the comfort of seat heaters.
With this minor model change, the X-TRAIL lineup is now complete with diverse variations including "ROCK CREEK," "NISMO," and "AUTECH."
Whether you're looking for the "ROCK CREEK" for active weekends in the mountains or by the sea, the "NISMO" for spirited drives on winding roads, or the "AUTECH" for a refined daily experience, you're sure to find a vehicle that perfectly matches your lifestyle.
The updated X-TRAIL might just become a partner that makes your life more active and richer. Why not find the one that suits you and embark on a new adventure?
