The GLE Coupe, based on the GLE, Mercedes-Benz's core SUV model, was born in 2016 as a coupe-style vehicle with a sleek roofline. The completely redesigned new GLE Coupe retains its identity as an SUV coupe while featuring a refreshed interior and exterior design, and is reborn with the latest technology and equipment.

The body, measuring 4,955mm long, 2,020mm wide, and 1,715mm high, is 65mm longer, 5mm wider, and 15mm lower than the previous generation. The wheelbase is 2,935mm, an increase of 20mm.
The exterior features a front with a single-louver diamond radiator grille and an underguard characteristic of an SUV. The sides combine the coupe's flowing, rounded roofline with large 21-inch wheel arches, blending features of both coupe and SUV families.
The interior is characterized by a horizontal dashboard with two 12.3-inch displays joined under a single glass cover, four horizontally arranged rectangular air vents, and grab handles on the center console, reminiscent of an SUV.
The interior for five occupants offers increased rear legroom thanks to the 20mm longer wheelbase, and a luggage capacity of 655 to 1,790 liters, an increase of 70 liters. Furthermore, it incorporates "ENERGIZING COMFORT," which comprehensively controls systems such as heaters, perfume atomizers, seat settings, lighting, and music. When a Garmin smartwatch is worn, the system can propose support modes by utilizing personal data like the driver's stress levels and sleep quality.
Standard equipment includes the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) interactive infotainment system with voice recognition, wireless charging for smartphones, and the advanced telematics service "Mercedes me connect." For driving assistance, it features the latest generation of intelligent drive systems, comparable to those in the S-Class.
