A Special Jacket Fabric Created to Commemorate Range Rover's 50th Anniversary

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Range Rover, Land Rover has designed a special fabric in collaboration with Henry Poole, the oldest tailor on London's Savile Row. At the same time, it was announced that the "Range Rover Fifty" special edition vehicle, limited to 1970 units worldwide, would be released.

The Range Rover, born in 1970 as a luxury SUV, has reached its 50th anniversary.
The lambswool fabric created for this occasion is inspired by the exterior paint colors of the first-generation Range Rover – Tuscan Blue, Bahama Gold, and Davos White – and is produced by Fox Brothers, a fabric manufacturer in Somerset, England. Only 120 meters, enough for 50 bespoke jackets to commemorate the Range Rover's 50th anniversary, were produced. Henry Poole will craft bespoke men's and women's jackets tailored to each customer's individual order using this fabric.
These three colors are also available for the first time in 35 years on the "Range Rover Fifty" special edition vehicle announced by Land Rover. The base model is the "Range Rover Autobiography," which will feature two types of exclusive 22-inch wheels and other amenities.
The exterior features the word "Fifty" handwritten by Gerry McGovern, Land Rover's Chief Creative Officer. This special model will have this detail not only on the exterior but also on the interior, including the headrests and dashboard.
In addition, Land Rover is also restoring and selling the first-generation Range Rover using only classic parts. The body colors will faithfully reproduce the three original colors, and the price for the fully restored model will start from 145,000 pounds (approximately 20.3 million yen).
