Prado Receives Minor Updates, Including Significant Output Increase for Diesel Engine
Toyota has implemented minor updates to the Land Cruiser Prado, including an increase in output for the diesel engine, and has also launched a special edition model, the TX "L Package Black Edition."

Special Edition Features Exterior and Interior Unified in Black
The Land Cruiser Prado's 2.8-liter diesel engine has been updated with an improved turbocharger. Maximum output has been significantly increased from the previous 177ps to 204ps, promising more powerful performance. The 2.7-liter gasoline engine remains unchanged.

In terms of safety features, the "Toyota Safety Sense" system has been enhanced with an expanded detection range for the pre-crash safety system. It now supports pedestrians at night and cyclists during the day, while lane departure alert with yaw assist, road sign assist, and preceding vehicle start notification are now standard on all models.
Additionally, a 9-inch display audio system, capable of smartphone integration, is available as an option.
The special edition "TX "L Package Black Edition"" is available for both the updated diesel and gasoline models. Based on the "TX" and including the "L Package" equipment, the interior and exterior are designed with a black theme. The exterior features gloss black metallic accents on the grille, around the headlamps, and on the back door garnish, while the side mirrors and roof rails are unified in black.

The vehicle is equipped with exclusive 18-inch wheels in a black finish, and larger fog lamp bezels, also in black, further enhance its more determined appearance.
Pricing for the Land Cruiser Prado starts at ¥4,285,000 for the diesel models and ¥3,621,000 for the gasoline models. The special edition "TX "L Package Black Edition"" ranges from ¥4,261,000 to ¥5,089,000.
