Cabriolet Offers 11 Exterior Colors and 4 Soft Top Options

The exterior of the Coupe follows the traditional proportions of Mercedes Coupes: a beautifully flowing roofline that leads to a bold, powerful rear end. The A-pillar, which rises low from the front section, along with the high beltline and frameless doors, create the classic Mercedes Coupe proportions.
The Cabriolet, on the other hand, is based on the Coupe's body design. When the soft top is closed, it boasts a styling reminiscent of a traditional, flowing Mercedes Coupe, while with the top down, it offers the expansive proportions unique to a cabriolet. Furthermore, the ability to create a highly personalized and stylish vehicle with 11 exterior colors, 4 soft top colors (black, brown, dark blue, and dark red), and 6 interior combinations is one of its key appeals.
The headlights at the front feature a design common to the latest sporty Mercedes-Benz models, characterized by a slim, slightly upward-sloping shape.
Inside, the interior features the new generation Mercedes-Benz steering wheel with three twin spokes, creating a futuristic sporty feel. It is equipped with a large 12.3-inch dual widescreen display, the interactive infotainment system "MBUX," AR (Augmented Reality) navigation, and the advanced telematics service "Mercedes me connect" that enhances user convenience through vehicle communication. All models come standard with the latest "Intelligent Drive" advanced driver-assistance systems.
The powertrain for the E 200 models utilizes the "M264" 1.5-liter inline 4-cylinder turbo engine, producing a maximum output of 184 hp and a maximum torque of 280 Nm. It also incorporates new technologies such as the "EQ Boost" motor, which serves as both a starter and generator, and a "48V electrical system" providing auxiliary power up to 160 Nm.
The E 300 models are equipped with a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder engine from the same "M264" family as the E 200. Featuring a twin-scroll turbocharger and the variable valve lift system "CAMTRONIC," it enables smooth acceleration from low to high RPMs.
The E 450 4MATIC models are equipped with new technologies including the compact 3-liter inline 6-cylinder gasoline engine "M256," producing a maximum output of 367 hp (270 kW) and a maximum torque of 500 Nm, an electric motor "ISG (Integrated Starter Generator)" generating 22 hp (16 kW) and 250 Nm of torque, and a "48V electrical system."
The Mercedes-AMG E53 models combine an inline 6-cylinder engine with a maximum output of 435 hp (320 kW) and a maximum torque of 520 Nm, an ISG with a maximum output of 22 hp (16 kW) and 250 Nm of torque, a 48V electrical system, and an electric supercharger. They also feature the performance-oriented "AMG 4MATIC+" all-wheel-drive system with variable torque distribution.
The transmission is an electronically controlled 9-speed "AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT (Torque Clutch Transmission)" that provides direct, rapid gear shifts and high transmission efficiency. The "AMG RIDE CONTROL+ suspension" features multi-chamber air suspension with sporty spring/damper settings and the continuously variable "ADS+ (Adaptive Damping System Plus)" dampers, achieving both exceptional driving dynamics and superior comfort.
Prices range from 8.32 million to 13.05 million yen for the E-Class Coupe, and 8.71 million to 13.64 million yen for the E-Class Cabriolet. Deliveries will commence sequentially from October.
