Lexus LC Convertible Production Confirmed
On Friday, July 5, Lexus announced that the convertible model of its flagship coupe, the LC, will go into production. The prototype was also unveiled to the world for the first time at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2019 in the UK, which began on Thursday, July 4, where it performed a hill climb.

The convertible model of the LC was developed as a new proposal for the luxury lifestyle that Lexus advocates. It will stand at the pinnacle of the Lexus lineup alongside the coupe model.
The venue chosen for the prototype's world debut was the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK, where the coupe model of the LC also ran in 2016. It appeared at the historic automotive festival, which gathers renowned drivers and both new and classic cars.

At the event, Nick Cassidy, a driver competing in the Super GT GT500 class, took the wheel. He demonstrated the LC Convertible's hill climb performance, with the car adorned in camouflage.
