The Grecale is the second SUV from Maserati, following the brand's first SUV, the Levante. Intensive data collection is currently underway across various conditions, including rigorous road, circuit, and off-road testing, as development progresses towards final adjustments.

Production will take place at Maserati's new production facility in Cassino, Italy, which has been upgraded with an investment of approximately 800 million euros. The world premiere is scheduled for the end of 2021.
