Exterior Inspired by the Wagoneer, the Pioneer of Luxury SUVs

The fourth-generation Grand Cherokee L debuts with its first-ever three-row seating configuration.
Two grades will be introduced in Japan: "Limited" and "Summit Reserve." The "Limited" will seat seven passengers, while the "Summit Reserve" will seat six. Both are powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive.
The Grand Cherokee L's exterior draws inspiration from the Wagoneer, the luxury SUV pioneer born in 1963. It inherits an elegant long-nose proportion, a spacious cabin, and a distinctive reverse-slant nose, all refined into a modern and stylish design through the latest approach.
The front air intake features newly adopted active grille shutters that automatically control the flap's opening based on powertrain cooling needs, contributing to improved real-world fuel efficiency.

The interior exudes a sense of quality with its horizontal instrument panel emphasizing width and a layered layout with stacked materials. A 10.1-inch digital touchscreen is centrally positioned, featuring an Aisin navigation system and supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Comfort features include standard tri-zone or quad-zone automatic climate control, a power liftgate, and a 115V accessory power outlet. The higher-trim "Summit Reserve" further adds a 16-way power front seat, front massage function, wireless charging pad, and a hands-free power liftgate.
Driver assistance features support safe driving with a surround-view camera that displays obstacles around the vehicle on the monitor and a head-up display. The "Summit Reserve" also includes a digital rearview mirror and Active Driving Assist, which helps maintain lane centering.
Four body colors are available, including Diamond Black Crystal and Velvet Red. For the "Summit Reserve," the roof will be finished in black when Baltic Grey Metallic is selected.
The price for the Grand Cherokee L is 7.88 million yen for the "Limited" and 9.99 million yen for the "Summit Reserve."
