Over 350,000 Liters of Water Expected to Be Recovered and Purified

Bentley aims to be the most sustainable luxury car manufacturer. The company has achieved carbon neutral certification and is striving for sustainability through further reductions in water and energy consumption, as well as CO2 emissions offsetting.
Bentley has previously installed numerous reverse osmosis treatment units within its facilities to recycle water, such as removing contaminants that could affect high-quality paint finishes. However, only one liter of purified water could be produced from three liters of process water sent for reverse osmosis treatment. With the introduction of the new recycling system, the remaining two liters can now be used to maintain cleanliness in the factory and facilities.
Bentley commented, "Water plays a crucial role in many manufacturing processes, and as a natural resource, reducing its consumption and reusing it wherever possible is vital to our philosophy." Furthermore, the new recycling system also contributes to achieving the goal of manufacturing the highest quality automobiles.
Bentley anticipates recovering over 350,000 liters of water in 2020. The purified water is planned for use in cleaning and watering plants.
