20 PS (14 kW) and 20 Nm More Power Than Predecessor

At Porsche, the powertrain plays a particularly crucial role in the GTS models. While the previous Cayenne GTS was equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 twin-turbo engine, the new model once again features a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo, befitting a flagship model.
This engine, producing a maximum output of 460 PS (338 kW) and a maximum torque of 620 Nm, offers a 20 PS (14 kW) increase in maximum output and a 20 Nm increase in maximum torque compared to the previous generation. With the Sport Chrono Package, it achieves 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds (0.6 seconds faster than the predecessor) and a top speed of 270 km/h (an 8 km/h increase).
The transmission is an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic, with NEDC combined cycle fuel consumption rated at 11.4–11.2 L/100 km. These performance figures are said to be the same for the GTS Coupe model.
The sports exhaust system features tailpipes on the rear left and right for the GTS, and two oval tailpipes centrally positioned for the GTS Coupe.
The chassis features a standard steel spring setup that lowers the vehicle by 20mm, incorporating the sport-tuned, damper-controlled active Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus). It also includes 21-inch RS Spyder design wheels, large cast-iron brakes, and red brake calipers.
Optional features further include a 3-chamber air suspension that lowers the ride height by 10mm, high-performance Porsche Surface Coated Brakes (PSCB) with tungsten carbide coating, and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB).
The exterior is distinguished by dark-tinted LED front and rear lights, along with black accents on the 21-inch alloy wheels, air intakes, side window trim, tailpipes, and the rear model designation and Porsche logo.
Inside, Alcantara is used for the roof lining, the center panels of the 8-way sport seats, the center console armrest, and the doors. GTS logos are featured on the front doors, door sills, rev counter, and headrests.
Another notable feature is the standard inclusion of equipment that is optional in markets outside Japan, such as adaptive cruise control, lane change assist, park assist with surround view, and comfort access.
Pricing is set at 16.82 million yen for the Cayenne GTS and 17.52 million yen for the Cayenne GTS Coupe.
