First Production Model with Naturally Aspirated Engine to Break 7 Minutes at Nürburgring
Reservations have now opened in Japan for the "911 GT3," the high-performance model of the 7th-generation 911, which had been announced for release.
The powertrain features a 4.0-liter, flat-six naturally aspirated engine producing a maximum output of 375kW (510ps). Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed PDK. Top speed is 320 km/h for the manual (318 km/h for the PDK), with 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.4 seconds.
Furthermore, this new "911 GT3" is the first production model equipped with a naturally aspirated engine to break the 7-minute barrier at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, recording a time of 6 minutes and 59.927 seconds. This proves it to be a vehicle that has achieved further evolution.
Both left-hand and right-hand drive configurations are available, with prices starting at 22,960,000 yen.
